Freemasons believe in an ethical approach to life. Our values are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness. Members are urged to regard the interests of the family as paramount. However, Freemasonry also teaches and practises concern for people, care for the less fortunate and help for those in need.

A warm welcome from Steve Bolton
Welcome to the new website for the Preston Group of Lodges and Chapters in the Province of West Lancashire.
May I thank you for visiting our website and I hope that it will be useful and informative both to Masons and non-Masons who wish to expand their interest in all aspects of Freemasonry.
Today our group is made up of 16 lodges and 11 chapters. We have three meeting places within the group: Preston Masonic Hall, Ashlar House, Saul Street, Leyland Masonic Hall, Wellington Park, Church Road and Norman Jepson, Beefeater Inn, Bluebell Way, Preston.
Freemasonry has enjoyed strong links with Preston for more than 200 years dating back to the founding of the Lodge of Justice No 484 in 1775, however, although some traditions have been upheld over the years, we are continuing to move with modern times which is clearly seen here on our new website….
This video explains the key elements of Freemasonry. It has been produced for use by all Freemasons in the Province. Please take every opportunity to share it with your family and all your non-Masonic friends
